Meet Ryan and Mike—two middle-aged gym class heroes who swapped dodgeballs for bourbon glasses and somehow made it out of their parents' basements alive. Now, we’re here to share our hot takes on bourbon, sports, and the wonderfully messy thing called life.
👨💻 Ryan: The East Coast guy who grew up in Patriots territory, so life’s been, well…pretty easy. When you’ve got that many rings, it’s hard to complain (though Mike tries). By day, he’s a sports writer, putting words to the games you love. By night, he’s an awesome dad to Spiderman (yes, really) and a husband who somehow manages to juggle it all while finding time to pour a perfect glass of bourbon. Ryan’s the guy who can make stats sound cool and bourbon taste even better.
₿ 👨🚀🚀 Mike: Straight outta small-town Wisconsin, Mike had to fight for every sports victory as a Vikings fan in Packer Country. Yep, he’s used to heartbreak and cheeseheads rubbing it in. By day, he’s a tech nerd and recruiter extraordinaire; by night, he’s your go-to for random kombucha facts, crypto rabbit holes, and bourbon picks. Mike’s also the guy who will argue that Wild Turkey 101 belongs on a pedestal—whether or not you agree is a different story.
